God has new plans for us...

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that our adoption from Central America is no longer going to be completed! We are so very sad that we are not adopting the little girl we thought was going to be our daughter/sister. It is a very long and complicated story and we would be happy to tell you more about it in person or on the phone. (We cannot share private information about any potential adoptee on our blog.) We will say with confidence that she is doing very well and is very happy to be back with her birth family! Because of all of the support from our family and friends and having a few months to grieve, we are all doing much better. We praise God for healing our hearts! This little girl will not be in our family, but she will forever be a part of our family and a special friend!
