In the summer of 2010, the Simmer family was blessed to host a beautiful eight-year-old girl from a Central American orphanage. The three week visit was incredible and the Simmers quickly decided to pursue adding this little ball of energy to their three-member family. The adoption process has been slow and unpredictable, but is finally moving in the right direction. In January, the Simmers learned that the girl they are adopting has a sister and have chosen to host her, with the possibility that she, too, will be adopted. In April of 2011, the Simmers will be hosting both girls. God has truly blessed us!
Our adoption is going to cost between $35,000 and $45,000!!!!
